At Envalis Technology Solutions, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and what rights you have.
Who we are
Envalis Technology Solutions is an IT services company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We provide technology consulting, network setup, security system installation, and ongoing IT support to businesses across the Greater Toronto Area.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at contact@envalistech.com.
Information we collect
We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to us.
Contact form submissions
When you fill out our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if provided)
- Your company name (if provided)
- The service you’re interested in (if selected)
- The content of your message
With each message we also record the page it was sent from, when it was sent, the country your connection comes from, and your browser type. This helps us reply in context and keep spam out.
Website usage
This website does not use analytics or advertising tools. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider that processes technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages to you and protect the site from abuse.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries. When you submit the contact form, we use your information to reply to your message and discuss your IT needs.
- To provide IT services. If you become a client, we use your contact information to communicate with you about the services we provide.
- To keep this website secure. Technical information helps us block spam and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails.
Service providers
We use a limited number of service providers to run this website:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, processes contact form submissions and stores them in a database, and provides Turnstile, the check that protects our form from spam. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Resend delivers each contact form message to our inbox by email. See Resend’s privacy policy.
These providers process your information only to deliver these services, and they may store it outside Canada.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking across other websites. The spam check on our contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes technical information about your browser only to confirm that a real person is sending the form.
Data protection
We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include secure data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular review of our data handling practices.
While no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, we are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability using industry-standard practices.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data. You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you.
- Correct your data. If any information we have about you is inaccurate, you can ask us to update it.
- Delete your data. You can request that we delete any personal information we hold about you. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
- Withdraw consent. If you have given us consent to process your data, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@envalistech.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
PIPEDA compliance
As a Canadian business, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This means we follow the ten fair information principles set out in PIPEDA, including accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and challenging compliance.
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with PIPEDA, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
